Wozair was delighted to welcome the University of Greenwich Medway Campus to their offices on Thursday 10th February.
Simon Collins, Founding Director of Wozair, invited Professor Jane Harrington, Vice Chancellor of the University, to discuss their future plans and look at what collaboration opportunities there might be.
Other visitors included Stuart Ashenden, Faculty Operating Office and Phil Cox, Head of School of Engineering who were also met by Chris Cherrington, Commercial Director and recently appointed John Foley, Group Managing Director of Wozair.
The University spoke of their commitment to local area, their ambition to work closer with local private sector businesses and employability of its students post-graduatation, with an impressive 90% starting work or further study within 6 months of completing their course.
Proffessor Harrington shared her vision to become more connected with the private sector when considering the development of new capabilties, by first understanding the needs of enterprise today and in the future, with regards to research and development.
For many years, Wozair has provided work placements to students during internship and very much looks forward to developing our relationship with the Univeristy in a multi-dimensional sense, including where the University could assist in primitive thermo-modelling for rating and certification product testing.
Wozair very much look forward to visiting the university for the return invitation in March and welcome the opportunity to further develop the partnership.
