E L Joseph established Ozonair around 1900 to manufacture and sell ozone-generating appliances to create “pure air ventilation.”

1939-1945

World War II

World War II saw Ozonair develop air filters to combat the possible use of poisonous gases. They then went on in the 60’s to manufacture air conditioning equipment under license.

Waterloo Air Technology was established in the UK as part of the Hunter International group of companies.

Wozair

The name was abbreviated to Wozair in 2000 and since then the company has expanded quickly into new sectors and across the globe.

2003-2011

Wozair International

Wozair opened its first international office in Singapore in 2003, followed by Houston in 2006, Dubai in 2007, Brisbane in 2008 and Busan in 2011. On top of this, Wozair Group factories have been opened in Singapore, Malaysia, Houston and South Korea to go with our primary manufacturing base in the UK.

Jet Environmental Acquisition

Wozair announced the acquisition of Jet Environmental Systems on 30 June 2016. Jet specialise in temperature control solutions for large volume, open plan industrial, commercial and pharmaceutical buildings.

2019

Veotec Aquisition

Wozair complete the acquisition of the remaining shares in Veotec Limited and Veotec Group from the original Shareholders, after acquiring a majority shareholding in June 2017. Veotec products are used to protect and extend the life of equipment including diesel and gas turbine engines, HVAC systems in the harshest conditions.

Wozair Acquire Thermoplant Shares

Wozair have acquired a majority shareholding in Thermoplant Offshore Services Ltd from Bassaire. This strategic acquisition brings together two of the most established and respected manufacturers of specialist ventilation equipment and services for the Marine, Oil & Gas, and Energy Industries in the UK.
