Wozair is delighted to announce it has been awarded Fit for Nuclear (F4N) status by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in September 2021.
The F4N programme is the benchmark for manufacturing for the UK Nuclear industry.
It enables companies to measure their operations against the standards required to supply the nuclear industry in new build, operations and decommissioning and to take the necessary steps to close any gaps.
Throughout the rigorous assessment, Wozair’s performance has been benchmarked against the standards demanded from Nuclear AMRC, a thriving alliance of seven leading manufacturing R&D centres backed by Innovate UK.
The approval follows on-site verification visits by an F4N assessor, as well as a review of project experience evidence within the civil nuclear field.
The achievement, which required contribution from all staff at Wozair, demonstrates a commitment to providing products and services to the highest industry standards and a continued dedication for business excellence.
‘Wozair has been developing their systems and procedures to meet the requirements of the programme over the past three years.
Following successful accreditation, we will continue the process of improvements in the design and manufacture of our products for the Nuclear industry to ensure Wozair continue to supply in the years to come.’ Jon Fermor, Compliance Manager at Wozair.
