Wozair and South Korean Agent Jaytech Team up to Support Local Scout
Wozair and Korean agent Jaytech have teamed up to sponsor local Gillingham Scout Issie in her efforts to raise money to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree, South Korea in Summer 2023.
After Issie contacted the Gillingham Head Office, Wozair reached out it’s South Korean agent who offered to generously match the £500 sponsorship, raising a quarter of her £4000 target.
Issie is one of four scouts and two explorers that have been selected to represent Gillingham. They will be part of the 108-strong Kent unit which will ultimately form part of the UK Contingent to the Jamboree. The six young people, supported by their parents, are embarking on a year long programme of events to fund the cost of attending the Jamboree.
The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) happens every four years, each time hosted by a different country. More than 40,000 Scouts from all over the world will gather in Korea.
Wozair and Jaytech are delighted to be able to utilise their International reach to co-sponsor Issie for this “once in a lifetime” opportunity and look forward to discovering more about her travels next year.
